EHI POLICY PROPOSALS: HOW THE HEATING SECTOR CAN REPOWER THE EU

The European Heating industry has gathered policy proposals, which we know are needed to deliver on the Commission proposals which concern directly the heating sector.

• Double the yearly deployment of heat pumps, with 10 million installed in the next 5 years and 30 million by 2030
• Produce and therefore use a higher amount of renewable gases: 35 billion cubic meters of biomethane and 20 million tonnes of hydrogen.
